Christian?Ruff?is?Professor?of?Neuroeconomics?and?Decision?Neuroscience?at?the?Department?of?Economics?of?the?University?of?Zurich,?where?he?also?directs?the?Laboratory?for?Social?and?Neural?Systems?Research?(SNS-Lab).?He?obtained?a?PhD?in?Cognitive?Neuroscience?at?University?College?London?and?has?been?a?Visiting?Researcher?at?Stanford?University.?In?his?research,?Prof.?Ruff?studies?human?motivation,?decision-making,?and?learning,?with?the?aim?to?develop?models?that?can?be?used?to?explain?and?predict?choices?and?social?behavior?across?many?diverse?contexts.?His?highly?interdisciplinary?research?line?has?led?to?many?publications?in?internationally?leading?journals?and?was?awarded?with?the?prestigious?Consolidator?Grant?by?the?European?Research?Council.

Christian?Ruff是瑞士蘇黎世大學(xué)經(jīng)濟系神經(jīng)經(jīng)濟學(xué)與神經(jīng)決策學(xué)教授，蘇黎世大學(xué)社會與神經(jīng)系統(tǒng)研究實驗室主任，他所在的蘇黎世大學(xué)經(jīng)濟系是世界上開展行為經(jīng)濟學(xué)與神經(jīng)經(jīng)濟學(xué)研究的頂尖機構(gòu)。Ruff教授的研究工作主要是利用行為實驗、計算建模、神經(jīng)成像與神經(jīng)刺激等多種方法結(jié)合來研究大腦的感知與決策機制，為選擇理論、機制設(shè)計、政策制定提供參考。其研究成果發(fā)表在Science,PNAS,NatureCommunications,NatureReviewsNeuroscience等國際著名學(xué)術(shù)期刊。
